LVSC Recognition Dinner Great Success!

Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County celebrated its 15th Tutor-Student-Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Sunday, June 9th, in the Community Room of the Monticello Fire House.

Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther and Linda Cellini, as Senator John Bonacic’s representative, spoke in support of literacy and congratulated everyone.

All tutors, students and volunteers were individually recognized. A tutor spoke about her extremely satisfying experience tutoring her adult student and three students spoke very emotionally about what their improvement in English literacy skills has meant to them.
