Subbing tonight for Drew Bordeaux is singer/songwriter Rich Kelly. Rich performs both originals and covers with an infectious style that keeps us, and his fans, coming back for more. Free Admission.
Rene Carlson with guest, Geoff Hartwell

A special night of of Blues, Rock & Country, led by Blues harp player Rene Carlson, backed by slide guitarist Geoff Hartwell plus special guest vocalists. Rene is a woman of formidable talent on an instrument traditionally dominated by men. Whether grinding out gut-bucket Blues, coaxing the sweetness from old-time Country, delivering high-energy Rock, or playing lightning-speed Bluegrass, she is one of very few harmonica players equally adept at almost any genre. Rene has played NYC venues like B.B. King’s and Terra Blues, and shared the stage with Guy Davis, the Campbell Brothers, Debbie Davies and others. Free Admission.
Fri, May 31, 9:30 – 12:30 ~ Pop/Rock/Blues with
Mishti, Tito & Burke

People who know Mishti are in awe of her talent. To those who’ve never seen her perform,

take our advice: You
should. Mishti’s music has been described as “coasting between a bottom-heavy Zeppelin Rock, Blues-infused grooves, Thelonius Monk-inspired guitar work, and a Nina Simone-style wail-to-whisper.” Mishti performs covers with unique style. From Michael Jackson to Pearl Jam to Lady Gaga to her own original tunes, Mishti is a stellar entertainer. Joining Mishti tonight is are two equally talented musicians: Chris Burke on bass and Tito Wilson on drums. This is going to be fun! $5 Entertainment Fee for all, including diners.

If you love that great slide guitar sound of Southern Rock, you’ve got to hear Geoff Hartwell, one of the Hudson Valley’s top slide guitarists. Geoff has performed with legends such as Gregg Allman, Sonny Landreth, Tab Benoit and John Hammond. He toured/recorded with Andy Aledort and Yonrico Scott (of the Derek Trucks Band), among others.

The band includes Yuichi Hirakawa on drums, plus Brendan O’Grady on bass, and Cary Brown on keys, both of whom toured with Geoff and Grammy winner Yonrico Scott. It’s gonna be a night of great Rock, great slide guitar and great dancing music! $10 Entertainment fee or $5 with dinner entree.

Following this afternoon’s Phototography Exhibit (see above, right) is a Singer/Songwriter Showcase featuring two talented female vocalists. Jessi is a 15-year-old sophomore at Briarcliff High School who likes to cover new music, and reinvent old classics to give them a modern twist. Her song “Fly Away” is about the stress of high school and “Where Have You Been?” is a love song about her one true love: her guitar.  Kristina attends the Hartt School of Music for Jazz vocal performance. She is already making a name for herself at clubs in and around the Hudson Valley, and even performed at the world-famous Apollo Theatre last September. Whether she’s playing guitar or ukulele, Kristina’s voice will mesmerize and surprise you. Kristina has been working on her debut album, “New Beginnings”. Free Admission.
