It is the goal of Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County to halt the rising tide of illiteracy in Sullivan County.
Through a trained corps of volunteer tutors, LVSC fosters and enhances family literacy, assists adults functioning at low levels of literacy, and promotes proficiency in English as a second language.
