One of the goals of the IDA, according to Scott, is to get a commitment from business to keep money in the county. “The first thing we talk to them about is spending their money locally, at businesses in Sullivan County”, Scott said.  “Spending their money on the projects and the professionals that are located in Sullivan County.

According to Roberta Byron-Lockwood, president of the Sullivan County Visitors Association, her organization has been working with the film company on a daily basis to get them to not only shoot most of the film in the county, but also to have the crew stay at accommodations within the county and make use of county businesses as much as possible.
