Lalor Appointed to Hudson River Valley Greenway Communities Council

Fishkill, NY: Assemblyman Kieran Michael Lalor (R,C,I – Fishkill) announced today that he has been appointed to the Hudson River Valley Greenway Communities Council by Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb.

“I’m honored to be representing New Yorkers on the Greenway board,” said Lalor.  “I’m ready to get to work as a watchdog for taxpayer dollars and as an advocate for economic development that will drive businesses and jobs into the Hudson Valley.”

Lalor continued, “We’re blessed to live in one of the most beautiful regions in the world, rich with scenic natural resources.  The Greenway Council has done good work to cultivate our natural and cultural resources and promote tourism.  I hope to work with the board to turn that into economic growth.  We can promote the Hudson Valley as a center not just for tourism, but for manufacturing and technology as well.  Our scenic resources and easy access to New York City can attract businesses to the region.  I’m looking forward to working with the Greenway Council to turn the Hudson Valley’s bountiful natural blessings into jobs for New York families.”
