With the 2012 election now over, , the majority of American voters have spoken-and they confirmed that they are satisfied with the direction in which President Obama has taken our country.

 

They sent a crystal clear message with their vote that they were willing to give President Obama a second chance to lead the country out of our economic doldrums of the past several years – and fix the debilitating gridlock in Washington as well.

 

In the president’s victory speech, he accepted the lessons of the hard fought campaign.  He told exuberant supporters in Chicago: “And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you, I have learned from you, and you’ve made me a better president. And with your stories and your struggles, I return to the White House more determined and more inspired than ever about the work there is to do and the future that lies ahead.”

 

He also stated: “you voted for action, not politics as usual.”

 

The question now is whether Congress got that same message as well…
