Here is a quick update on shelter information by county:

Westchester Shelter Information:

  • Cortlandt Manor: Muriel Morabito Community Center, 29 West Brook Drive
  • Mamaroneck: Mamaroneck High School, 1000 West Post Road
  • Mount Kisco: Boys & Girls Club, 351 East Main St.
  • North Salem: North Salem Ambulance Corp, 14 Daniel Rd.
  • Peekskill: Peekskill High School 1072 Elm St

Putnam Shelter Information:

The Putnam Valley Senior Center and the William Koehler Center in Mahopac will be open as “comfort stations” only.  The “comfort stations” are set up to provide residents with heat and electricity.  They will be open today at 9:00am until 5:00pm, Tuesday from 7:00am until 9:00pm and Wednesday from 7:00am until 9:00pm.  Future operating hours of the centers will be determined as the storm progresses.

Dutchess Shelter Information:

  • State University of New York at New Paltz
  • Beacon High School
  • Red Hook High School
  • The American Red Cross of the Mid-Hudson Valley is operating numerous shelters. http://www.redcross.org/
