ASSEMBLYMAN STEVE KATZ TO ADDRESS SILVER’S ATTEMPTS TO SILENCE HIM; ATTACKED ON WRONGFUL TERMINATION & NONEXISTENT TAX ISSUE

 

 

WHO:  Steve Katz, New York State Assemblyman; Susan Lask, Attorney for Dr. Katz; Nicole Katz, Owner of Bronx Veterinary Hospital; Leonard Hoffman, Accountant for Bronx Veterinary Hospital; and a long-term female employee from the veterinary practice.

 

WHAT:  On September 4, Assemblyman Katz called for Speaker Sheldon Silver’s immediate resignation and an independent investigation of Silver’s slush fund activities. In addition, Dr. Katz filed a FOIL request to peer further into Silver’s slush fund. Since then, Silver has poured tens of thousands of dollars into Katz’s opponent’s campaign and fed false information to the news media in an attempt to silence The Assemblyman.

 

Dr. Katz and his colleagues will stand before the public on Monday to reveal the realities behind Silver’s lies and pledge the Assemblyman’s renewed focus on Sheldon Silver’s immediate resignation.
