International Rett Syndrome Foundation

Friends,
I hope this finds you well. On November 4, my mom will run in the New York City Marathon to raise money for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. The ISRF funds research grants and promotes public awareness for Rett Syndrome. Rett syndrome is a unique developmental disorder that is first recognized in infancy and seen almost always in girls, but can be rarely seen in boys. As many of you know, my sister has Rett Syndrome and this is a very personal issue for me. I hoping that you can make a donation of $5 or $10 for this important cause.
Additionally, as you will see from the email below, any donations you make will be matched!
Donations can be made by clicking on the below link. Thank you for your support. If possible, please forward this email to your friends.
Rett Racers Marathon Donation Page

Dear Rett Racer—

We are all very excited that the first of our new group of Rett Racers:  Jackie Babiarz and Laura Host will be running in the Chicago Marathon this weekend!  Good luck and congratulations on your training success!

We have a great new opportunity to build on the efforts that each of you are already making to raise money for IRSF!  As I hope you have already read in the Flash or on Facebook, we have received commitment from two generous donors to match new gifts, up to $300,000, to the Foundation during October Rett Syndrome Awareness Month.  Since the Rett Racers program is new this year, every dollar that is donated to your fundraising page between October 1st and October 31st will be matched 100%.

Please let me know if I can help with messaging to potential donors or if you have any other questions regarding the program.

Thank you for your strength and commitment!

Marcy
