Video: Wagner Campaign Issues Response to Ball Campaign Dancing Video
Campaign Manager Steve Napier: “Challenge Accepted”
Peekskill, NY – State Senate candidate Justin Wagner’s campaign today released a video directly responding to the much-watched video of Ball Chief of Staff Jim Coleman leading a campaign office dance party.
“Challenge accepted,” quipped Wagner campaign manager Steve Napier. “Whether it’s knocking on doors, better representing the commonsense values of Hudson Valley voters, or yes, making a fun campaign video, Team Wagner does it with style.”

Points of Interest in the Video:

  • Wagner selected the background song as a nod to President Bill Clinton, a resident of the 40th Senate District, who made that song his 1992 presidential campaign’s theme song.
  • The multiple pairs of flip-flops seen in the video are leftovers from the Wagner campaign’s recent intervention at a Ball campaign press conference announcing his new position on the minimum wage – a flip-flop from his previous opposition to a minimum wage increase (stated as recently as a taped editorial board meeting on Sept. 27).

The video was entirely produced by Wagner campaign staff, directed by press secretary Linna Loangkote, and edited by campaign manager Steve Napier.
