Small business has spoken in the race for the 93rd Assembly District, and the candidate of Choice is Assemblyman Robert Castelli.
New York’s leading small business association, the National Federation of Independent Business, has endorsed Assemblyman Bob Castelli for re-election in the 93rd Assembly district.
“As a small business owner, I am thrilled and honored to receive the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business,” Castelli said. “I have been an advocate for small businesses since taking office and recognize that they are the lifeblood of each community in New York. I will continue to fight for their survival and prosperity, along with Governor Cuomo, as we partner to revitalize business in the Empire State.”
“Bob Castelli has been a great advocate for small business in the Legislature and his terrific voting record proves it,” said NFIB/New York State Director Mike Durant. “Assemblyman Castelli has stood with small business to help enact two consecutive fiscally responsible budgets and continues to stress the need for Albany’s focus to remain on reducing the high cost of doing business. We look forward to continuing to work with the Assemblyman to put New York on the path to economic revitalization,” Durant said.
NFIB’s political support is based on the candidate’s position and record on small-business issues. Castelli’s endorsement comes from the NFIB/New York SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the political action committee for NFIB/New York’s membership. The endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind the Castelli campaign.
