 Our once-monthly Open Mics (2nd Thurs) are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. We have a full back line and drum kit, so bring your guitar, bass or sticks, and don’t forget to bring your friends. Over 4 years running, our Open Mics attract a diverse group of talented musicians. Fri, Aug 10, 9:30 – 12:30 ~ The Dave Keyes Band If you’re ready for some foot-stompin’ boogie piano and “two-fisted pianistics” ( Village Voice), don’t  miss The Dave Keyes Band. Keyboardist Dave Keyes has been on the Blues scene over 20 years, performing with the likes of Larry Campbell, Gladys Knight & Lou Rawls. For 6 years, Dave was conductor for the Broadway hit “Smokey Joe’s Cafe” and is a featured performer on the Grammy-winning soundtrack. Dave won the Blues Foundation IBC & appears at Blues Festivals around the world. His newest CD, “Roots in the Blues” ranges from “rollicking boogie” to soulful R&B, Zydeco, Country Blues and some solo Gospel piano thrown in for good measure. $5 Cover.

Blues Buddha delivers original, feel good music at its best, and is one of the most exciting B  lues acts in the Tri-State area. Buddha’s CD, “I Like It A Lot” continues to receive air time around the world, and rave reviews. Blues Underground Network writes, “Tommy doesn’t ask you politely to get up and dance… once you hear his music, it will tear you off your seat and point your feet towards your best dancin’ shoes.” Tonight, vocalist Tom “Blues Buddha” Dudley is joined by a group of musicians who truly are The Real Deal: Eric Haight (guitar), Paul Bisbano (bass), Linda Geiger (drums) & Pete DeHoff (keys). $10 Cover or $5 with dinner entree.
The third Sunday of each month, 12 Grapes is proud to present our Kids’ Open Mic, a  showcase for talented musicians and singers age 17 and under. Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play, or just get up and sing. We have a drum kit, keyboard and mics. Our Kids’ Open Mic has become a popular favorite, and is always full of surprises and incredible talent. Sign-up begins at 5:30. $10 Burger Menu Special every month during Kids’ Open Mic, so bring the entire family and enjoy a night of great food and great musical fun.
